To make this conference even more affordable, the schedule is shifted to include just three hotel nights instead of four, with minimal loss of time for programming. We’ll convene on Thursday evening and conclude on Sunday morning with an exciting focus on breakthroughs in Israel that are helping build up the Messianic community there.
Like every UMJC conference, Break Through–Build Up! features an outstanding roster of classes. Four educational tracks build on the conference theme:
1) Breaking through Barriers to Relationship (Spiritual Formation: Connecting) 2) Breaking through Barriers to Spiritual Growth (Spiritual Formation: Study) 3) Building Up through Personal & Congregational Development (Useful Tools to Take Home) 4) Building Up through Reaching Out (Ideas for Personal & Communal Outreach)
In addition, professional and volunteer leaders seeking Excellence in Ministry (continuing ed) credit, or just an intensive educational experience, can take an all-day course from Dr. Jeffrey Seif on ancient Messianic Judaism and its implications for today. Excellence in Ministry will continue Saturday afternoon with Dr. John Fischer and Dr. Daniel Juster and leading an introduction to Messianic Jewish theology. This class will be extended as an optional Madrikh (licensure) course after the conference, Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning, available for credit under the Madrikh program, and MJTI.
Note to delegates: The annual business meeting opens Wednesday evening, July 13, and runs all day Thursday, July 14. The general conference begins Thursday evening.
