Representatives of the member congregations of the UMJC elected a new president, vice president, and secretary at their recent business meeting in Baltimore, July 18-19. Outgoing president Howard Silverman was succeeded by vice president Kirk Gliebe. Barney Kasdan was elected as vice president to finish the term vacated by Kirk Gliebe, and Jerry Feldman was elected as secretary. Charlie Cohen continues to serve as UMJC treasurer, along with Russ Resnik as executive director. Please keep the new (beginning 10-1-2012) UMJC executive committee in prayer. Howard Silverman was honored as outgoing president at the final service Sunday, July 22, for his work as a team builder and unifying force within the UMJC.
