When was the first UMJC conference you attended?

LA 1984 and we joined the Union in 1988.

What’s your role in the Union?

As the Credentials Chairperson, I work with students preparing for UMJC Madrikh Licensure and Smikha Ordination. It is very exciting knowing that the UMJC is the only Messianic Jewish organization that is accepted by the DoD and Pentagon as an Endorser for Messianic Jewish Military Chaplains.

What inspires you to serve in the Union?

I have dedicated the last 45 years to building the Kingdom of Yeshua through the Messianic movement. Seeing our community continue to grow in numbers and in spiritual life has been fun and very rewarding. As some say, the retirement benefits are out of this world!

What has the Union done for you?

The Union has provided me with a vehicle to serve God and Messiah. I have been equipped and inspired. It has also been a great blessing for me to contribute through teaching, writing, and participation on various committees. Likewise, my family and I have been blessed by the many long-term relationships through our involvement in the Union.
