Yisrael Vazquez Gaona (VeGaon) is the Rabbi and leader of Shuva. Kehilat Shuva meets every Shabbat for Torah services at 12:00 PM. The synagogue is located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, in the downtown area (Zona Centro).

Yisrael Vázquez Gaona was an official member of Rabbi Barney Kadsan’s congregation (Kehilat Ariel), where he completed his training as a Chazzan and served his rabbinic internship. The community has operated as a formal synagogue for the past 13 years, offering various activities such as Hebrew classes, a Messianic institute, dance classes, and Bat and Bar Mitzvah training. It is registered as the first synagogue in the city of Tijuana.

Yisrael Vázquez Gaona fue miembro oficial de la congregación del Barney Kadsan (Kehilat Ariel) donde cumplió con su entrenamiento de Jazan e hizo su pasantía para el Rabinato. La comunidad ha funcionado como una Sinagoga formal los últimos 13 años con diversas actividades con clases de hebreo, Instituto mesiánico, clases de danza y entrenamiento para Bat y Bar Mitzvah y es esta registrada como la primer Sinagoga de la ciudad de Tijuana.
